Dr. Heller is very much in
favor of Laser Vision Correction. We enjoy a close relationship with
TLC in Waltham. TLC is considered the most experienced Laser Center
in this area. They have performed over 300,000 LASIK procedures. The
surgeons at TLC continue to be at the forefront in advanced clinical
developments and techniques, as well as, offering the most advanced
equipment available. TLC has centers located across the country and
in Canada. Dr. Heller believes laser vision correction is now a very
safe and effective treatment for either eliminating or decreasing
the need for glasses and contact lenses.
We work together with TLC to provide you with personalized and total
care. Dr. Heller’s responsibilities in the process include the
pre-operative and post-operative care. You may potentially spend as
little as one day at the laser center. All of your follow-up care
will be done with Dr. Heller in Wilmington.
As in any surgical procedure there are risks, Dr. Heller believes
that the benefits far out way the risks, which are minimal. The risk
of serious complications is virtually non-existent with TLC.
